The Summer Regatta 2011

Rowntree Park provides an ideal location

for the Club to get together and operate all kinds of boats and sailing craft. radio control, electric, scale and semi scale surface craft, submarines, and even some quirky constructions that may surprise you.

We are a longstanding and friendly group

of modelers so visit the park on a saturday afternoon and enjoy friendly conversation, helpful advice and guidance or just come to pass the time and watch the boats. You will be very welcome and the nearby park café will be happy to serve refreshments.

Special ‘regatta’ event day’s ( see the calendar ) allow us to put on a display and invite other local clubs to come along, so there will be many wonderful models to view and people available for questions, so come and join in! Children and parents can even ‘have a go’ with our club RC boat. We very much look forward to seeing you.

Some very big news to tell you all about..!

Sadly the server hosting this website will be shutting down within the next few months. Bad news you think, well yes! but I have known this issue would be happening so have been busy making plans to cope. Firstly it gave me the opportunity to do quite a bit of work to change the graphics and general look of the website, second It meant I had to use new software and third I had to find a new host. So after all this I am glad to be able to announce a new club website has been created and is now Live.

It only went live on Saturday 7th January so it is still under construction in some areas. This site will be closing soon so all favourites and bookmarks will need to be updated to the new address.
